Clean Air Day 2022 Primary Schools Campaign

1st Jun 2022

Clean Air Day is the UK's largest air pollution campaign.  It brings together communities, businesses, schools and the health sector to improve public understanding of air pollution, build awareness of how air pollution affects our health and explain the easy actions we can all do to tackle air pollution, helping to protect the environment and our health.

Following an application, we are delighted that our school has been chosen by DAEFRA to be included in the primary school campaign - one of only 35 schools chosen in Northern Ireland.  Our Year 6 and Year 7 pupils will receive a Workshop on Monday 6th June which ties in to 'The World Around Us' curriculum and our ECO Schools Initiative to promote positive attitudes and behaviours from a young age.

Clean Air Day will then take place on Thursday 16th June.
