Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively.  Children are invited to ditch the school uniform and dress as brightly as possible to reinforce the Road Safety message of, ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’.   | St. Mary's 🎨 ART COMPETITION 2026 🎨 Closing date Wednesday 25th March 2026.  Entry £3.00.

Extended Provision in St. Mary's PS

From Monday 4th September 2017 we are extending our provision with the aim of supporting parents and families.

There will be an Early Drop-off Club from 8.15am in the morning, priced £1.00 per day. The Breakfast Club will be available from 8.30am for any children wishing to eat in the School Canteen.

Supervision is available by class teachers from 8.50am for all other children arriving to school.

We are also introducing a broader range of after school activities. Initially, this will be until 4.00pm for Years 1 and 2 and until 5.00pm for Years 3-7. The first block is from Monday 4th September 2017 until Friday 27th October 2017.

If you would like your child to attend the Early Drop-off Club or book a place on the After School programme, please visit school on Wednesday 30th August or Thursday 31st August 2017 between 9.00-11.00am.
