Nursery: The Wheels on the Bus!

As part of our ‘Nursery Rhymes’ topic this week we constructed a big yellow bus.  Lots of team work, thinking and problem solving skills were developed in this activity.  We had to find certain sized screws to fit the wheels and ensure they went ‘round and round’.  We considered the number of children that could safely fit in the bus and ensured safety belts were installed.  Bus tickets were made and scanned!  The children were able to demonstrate great turn-taking skills and imagination on where to travel to.
