Practical maths in Year 5

Over the past few weeks, Year 5 have been learning about measuring weight and capacity. They worked in groups to estimate and measure the weight of items and the capacity of various containers. They practised their measuring skills by making some delicious fruity drinks! As a challenge, they designed their drinks to have no more than 300ml of any one juice.
