St. Mary's PS Killyclogher Cross Country Run 2025
Our school hosted our Annual Cross Country Run today in the glorious surroundings of Killyclogher GAA. The weather was very kind to us and provided excellent running conditions. We were thrilled to have such a strong turnout from our neighbouring schools with over 500 children in attendance.
Thank you to all the runners who took part and to staff from local schools for bringing the children along.
Thank you to Killyclogher GAA for kindly providing access to the facilities for our use again this year. Thanks to Chairman, Mr Liam Cunningham, and to Donal, Sean, John, Eamon and Liam for the practical help with setting up for a safe and enjoyable run.
Thank you in particular to Mr McGowan, our PE Co-ordinator, for the smooth running of this successful annual event. Lots of preparation goes on behind the scenes and Mr McGowan and Mrs Quinn (Teachers) and Bronagh Morgan (Classroom Assistant) made it a great success!
Thank you also to the many volunteers who helped us with course supervision today. We couldn't do it without you!
Finally, we are extremely grateful to the 'McBride Retail Group' for sponsoring the drinks and snacks for today's run. Every child took away a goodie bag thanks to this generous sponsor.
Thank you to everyone for coming along today and we hope you enjoyed the St. Mary’s Run 2025!
