Big Walk and Wheel Day: Wednesday 18th March 2026 On Wednesday 18th March 2026, we encourage everyone (pupils, families and staff) to travel actively to school i.e. Walk, Cycle or Scoot, or at least park up and travel some of the way actively. We made bird feeders in Year 1/2 🐦

We know that winter can be a difficult time for garden birds, so we decided to make some bird feeders to help the birds during the Christmas holidays! We melted a large bowl of coconut oil and mixed in bird seed. We scooped the mixture into plastic cups and put them in the fridge overnight to harden. We hung them up outside in the trees during outdoor play this morning. We hope the birds enjoy their treats! 🐦
